Komal Patel founded Ethicarat after recognizing a key pain point in the jewelry industry—luxury often comes at the expense of sustainability and personalization. Customers were left choosing between ethically made products and high-end design, and often struggled to find pieces that truly reflected their individuality. With a long career in building technology products, leading innovations and executive leadership at large tech companies and a zeal to expand the family business of fine jewelry, Komal set out to solve this problem. She created Ethicarat, a brand that blends technology, sustainability, and luxury. By using lab-grown diamonds, recycled materials, and the power of AI through our AI-Powered Designer, Komal has made it possible for customers to design their own fine jewelry—without compromising their values or the planet.
